Climber injured in Ogden Canyon fall

OGDEN — A 24-year-old climber was injured Monday when he fell while climbing at the mouth of Ogden Canyon.

The Weber County Sheriff's Office said the climber, whose identity has not been released, fell roughly 20 feet and then rolled another 60 feet down the mountain. Officials said the climber broke both ankles and suffered head injuries.

The climber was transported to McKay-Dee Hospital.
