2 inmates escape from Uintah County Jail

VERNAL -- A search is underway for two inmates who escaped from the Uintah County Jail in Vernal.
The two state inmates kicked out a dryer vent and stole a vehicle.
One inmate is Jason Max Braham, 21. He is described as five feet nine inches tall, 185 pounds, green eyes with a shaved head.
The other is Dallas Ephraim Derrick, 21. He also has a shaved head, blue eyes, is five feet nine inches tall, and weighs 180 pounds. Derrick has tattoos on his left arm of a spider web, and a clown and skull.
Both men had been convicted of theft and burglary charges.
The stolen vehicle is a 1996 green Yukon with a ski Utah license plate #612MPM.
Anyone who sees the men or the vehicle should contact local law enforcement or call 911.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
